With DBT you can learn to:

  • respond rather than react

  • decrease maladaptive coping mechanisms

  • regulate emotions

  • manage stress in a healthy way

  • cope with the symptoms of anxiety, depression and panic

  • strengthen relationships and communicate effectively

Why Music?

Learning new information and breaking old habits is hard! There is a tendency to disengage from and have difficulty remembering much of what we learn in typical skills groups. With music therapy, you will stay engaged, have an opportunity to reinforce your skills, and you might just have fun!

You may join for one or stick around for all 3! In order to get the most out of your DBT music therapy experience we ask that you commit to a minimum of 8 weeks.
